Who We Are

An artist at heart since my earliest

memories...   

 i have loved drawing since i can remember. I grew up in a family of 8 children who are all creative in their own right. There are artists, woodworkers, metal sculptors, quilters, inventors among us. Now i am joyfully watching my five grandchildren become artists, linguists, journalists, business entrepreneurs, athletes and more.  My sons are honorable men and they make me proud. 

I am enjoying painting with acrylics. i love the multitude of colors. I have always been fascinated with faces and have a series of faces in a mixed medium of pastels, watercolor, pencil and whatever is handy.

Most paintings tell a story by themselves... each of them truly is a story; a heartbreak, a celebration, a hope, a future, a love affair, an event... what do they say to you?  i'd love to know.  

My hope is that my art touches you and gives you joy. It does that for me when I paint. My desire is to glorify God using the gifts He has given me. My goal is to become what my Creator designed me to be.
